This Tea Brack is super quick to make , moist and just that right amount of fruit. Goes really well with some real butter or homemade preserves.
- Steep the fruit in the tea with the tea bags and whiskey overnight
- Put the flour sugar and mixed spice into a bowl and add the egg
- Mix the fruit, tea and whiskey and add to the dry ingredients stir and place into a greased loaf tin ( I use loaf liners )
- Bake at 170 fan for approximately 1 hour or until loaf is brown and firm to touch
